The so-called no-code revolution is making software more accessible than ever. But you still need technical know-how to use a no-code tool. Skippet makes no-code accessible to everyone through language. This has been made possible by recent developments in artificial intelligence and will transform computing as fundamentally as Bill Gates and Steve Jobs did when they swapped complicated computer commands for a screen, icons, and a mouse.
Skippet can work for anyone from a journalist organising articles, to an aid worker distributing food parcels, or a banker managing loans.
“You will be able to create your custom data management or business process management app just by describing what you need in normal English language,” said Greg Janota, Skippet’s COO.

- In March 2022, Skippet raised $2.4 million in its seed funding round led by Neo, with participation from Wedbush Ventures, Studio Management, Gangels, Assure and other international investors
- It is headquartered in Luxembourg but fully remote and international
- Skippet is currently recruiting software engineers
- Skippet will launch towards the end of 2022
Jacob Arnould, the CEO of Skippet, explains that the company’s mission is to empower humans to achieve more with computers using natural language.
“Solving a problem or implementing a solution should be as easy as describing it. Someone may struggle to figure out a solution to a problem but if they can describe their problem, Skippet will solve it for them,” he said.
